CITIZENS FOR CLIMATE
Since 2016, I regularly work with Dutch NGOs such as Greenpeace, FossilVrij and movements like Je Moeder, to document the actions organized in the Netherlands.
Bicycle parades, artivism at the Van Gogh Museum, a "noisy" protest at the headquarters of the gas company NAM, the demonstration against TTIP and CETA, protests to support Standing Rock against the pipeline and the funding of the ING bank, a campaign asking to the Dutch pension funds to divest from oil industries, the welcome of the "Mayor for the climate", the citizen's march for Climate, the blocking movement CODE ROOD, demonstrations against Shell Generation Discover Festival, ...
The projects are multiple and always very creative.
From this series of photos was created the project "Citizens for Climate" with the collaboration of Egbert Born, Dutch interviewer. The project highlights people taking part of the protests, with interviews of participants, explaining their commitment to the action and in their daily lives.
